Happy Friday, gang! The weekend is just around the corner. Heck, it’ll be the second day of an extra long weekend for people in the US who chose to take the day off after the 4th of July. This is the way to do it.
today NYT Relationships suggestions and answers are coming right away.
How to play the links
IN Relationships, you are presented with a grid of 16 words. Your task is to arrange them into four groups of four by finding the connections between them. Groups can be things like horror movie franchises, a type of verb, or rappers.
There is only one solution to each puzzle and you will need to be careful when it comes to words that can fit into more than one category. You can mix the words to perhaps help you see the connections between them.
Each group is color coded. The yellow group is usually the easiest to understand, the blue and green fall in between, and the purple group is usually the hardest to figure out. The purple group often includes puns, so keep that in mind.
Choose four words that you think go together and press submit. If you make a guess and are incorrect, you will lose a life. If you’re close to making a correct set, you might see a message telling you that you’re just one word away from getting it right, but you’ll still need to figure out which one to switch.
If you make four mistakes, it’s game over. Let’s make sure that doesn’t happen with the help of some tips and, if you’re really struggling, today Relationships answers.

Back-to-back perfect games mean I’m now up to four wins in a row.
I found this to be a very fun game. Of course, the single letters in the middle caught my attention immediately, while there were some obvious red herrings (such as the combination of YEN and EURO).
MONEYPENNY was an obvious entry point into the blues, as BUBBLEGUM was for the purple band. The other two groups required a little more thought until I understood the connection between FUTUNA and NATURE. That left me with yellow for the win, but I had never actually heard of YEN in that context.
That’s all there is for today Relationships data and response. Be sure to check my blog for tips and solutions for Saturday’s game if you need them.
PS Power pop is such a great and expansive genre, although I mostly think of it as upbeat rock music. Weezer are among the top contenders, and while my favorite song of theirs will forever be “Say It Ain’t So,” I can’t help but go with this:
