Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters stoops to new lows as he calls Israel ‘filthy liars’ and accuses it of fabricating accounts of rape by Hamas terrorists before awkwardly telling himself to ‘calm down’ ‘ in the fiery interview with Piers Morgan.

Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters has accused Israel of telling ‘filthy and disgusting lies’ about babies being burned and women being raped by Hamas.

The 80-year-old musician said there was ‘no evidence’ that the victims had been sexually assaulted during the terrorist organisation’s rampage on October 7.

This is despite a United Nations report earlier this year that said ‘sexualized torture’ such as rape and gang-rape had been carried out by Hamas thugs amid atrocities that saw 1,200 people killed and 250 taken hostage.

Waters, who has previously said Hamas is ‘morally bound to resist occupation’ by Israel, told Piers Morgan Uncensored last night that the killing of civilians was a ‘war crime’.

However, in a heated exchange, the 80-year-old musician accused Israel of lying about atrocities committed by terrorists, before awkwardly whispering to himself in an attempt to calm down on camera.

Speaking on Talk TV last night, Waters said: “I’m not saying that part of the Palestinian resistance movement didn’t break through that wire fence. I’m not saying it didn’t happen at all.

“What I’m saying is there’s all this talk about whether Israel has a right to defend itself, why didn’t Israel defend itself that morning?

“Why did they wait seven hours before they started machine gunning everyone?” he asked

As the line of questioning grew increasingly heated between Mr Waters and Piers Morgan, the rock star suggested there should be an ‘actual’ and ‘real’ inquiry on October 7.

He added: “Beyond the very good AlJazeera documentary that we all saw that came out.

“And all the great work Grayzone did in debunking all the filthy disgusting lies the Israelis told after October 7th about burning babies and raping women.”

When Piers confirmed the women had been raped that day, the 80-year-old vehemently denied the claims, shouting: ‘No, they weren’t.

He continued: ‘Well there was no evidence. You can say what you want, but there is no evidence.’

Shortly after his defiant rant, Waters seemed to start talking strangely to himself.

‘Roger, Roger calm down. Don’t stoop to his level, well I won’t. Stop yelling. Stop yelling again. “Let him interrupt you as much as he wants,” he whispered.

While engaging in a fiery rant at Piers Morgan's show, the Pink Floyd star said there was no evidence of the burning of babies or the rape of women on October 7.

The musician then went on to claim that Israel attacked its own civilians that day, calling it a ‘cast iron’ fact.

“All those stacks of cars that were destroyed by Apache missiles from helicopters that Hamas didn’t have helicopters,” he said.

He then went on to claim that he definitely believed that Hamas killed civilians that day.

Waters described the killing of civilians as a ‘war crime’ but refused to label Hamas a terrorist organisation, adding that Palestine had the right to fight against the ‘oppressor’.

“People who fight in the name of the liberation of Palestine have a legal and moral right to fight against the oppressor.

“If someone invades your country, evicts all the people from their home, steals everything and is stealing all your land and occupying all your land for 75 years, you have the absolute right to armed resistance,” he said.

The musician previously sparked controversy when he said Hamas was ‘morally obliged to resist the occupation’ on October 7 and accused Israel of ‘making up stories’ about the terror attack.

Speaking on the Rumble podcast System Update with Glenn Greenwald in November – the aging rocker said there was ‘something very strange’ about Israel not realizing that Hamas was occupying.

“But then again it’s the Geneva convention – they’re absolutely legally and morally bound to resist occupation since 1967. It’s an obligation.”

He continued: “As I said in a statement after that, if war crimes have been committed, I condemn them.

“They have finally come out with figures on how many people were actually killed, who they were, that day.

“Maybe the first 400 were Israeli military personnel – this is not a war crime.

“Of course I don’t condemn it, but it was blown out of proportion by the Israelis creating stories about beheading babies.”

The presenter claimed Waters had been targeted with ‘defamation and attacks’ – suggesting it is because he has ‘expressed views that are threatening to people in power’.

The guitarist claimed that accusations of anti-Semitism had come up ‘because they have no answer to the argument’.
