Amazon’s Prime Day 10 is just around the corner, and the e-commerce company has tapped rapper Megan Thee Stallion to help kick off the sales event.
The rapper is kicking things off with an original track, “It’s Prime Day,” which is streaming exclusively on Amazon Music. In the accompanying video, the rapper says she can “change my hobby how I change my men” as she takes advantage of exclusive Prime Day member deals to become a player, stylist, lifeguard, gamer and chef.
Prime members can also shop Megan Thee Stallion’s Prime Day picks inspired by her diverse interests featured in the music video, which include early bird deals on items from her new Hot Girl Tour merchandise collection Summer.
The two-day sale starts on July 16 and runs until July 17, promising millions of deals across more than 35 categories, including electronics, kitchen, clothing and beauty.

What date and time is Amazon Prime Day?
The next Prime Day officially begins at 12:01 a.m. PDT on July 16 and runs through July 17, but Prime members have access to early bird savings. Several brands – including Nordic Track, Poppi Prebiotic Sodas and Hatch – are already offering deals for the event.
Starting July 8th, some influencers will remove offers on various products. Amazon lists Jess Sims, Alyssa McKay, Monet McMichael, Jared McCain, Millie Bobby Brown, Meredith Duxbury and Alix Earle as accounts to keep an eye on.
Other early savings deals include:
- Amazon Prime Video Offers: Up to 50% off select shows and movies to rent or buy on Prime Video, plus deals on select channels through Prime Video Channels. Crunchyroll, Starz, and MGM+ are available for $0.99 each per month for up to two months, and Prime members can get 50% off AMC+ and Paramount+ with Showtime for up to two months.
- Amazon device sales: Amazon says it’s offering its lowest price ever on select Amazon devices, including the Ring Battery Doorbell Plus Wi-Fi Mesh Systems, Blink Outdoor 4 Multi-Pack Fire TV Cube (third generation), Kindle Scribe and Eero Max 7. Shoppers can also save up to 68% on select Amazon devices, including Echo Show 8 (General 3), Fire TV 2-Series, Insignia 50-inch Class F30 Series Smart Fire TV with Alexa Voice Remote, Fire HD 10 tablets, Fire HD 8 Kids, Luna controllers and Amazon smart plugs.
- Food offers: Amazon is offering coupons for $15 off Amazon Fresh physical store purchases of at least $75 from June 26th through July 15th. Prime customers and shoppers with a registered EBT card who haven’t registered before can get three free months of Amazon grocery subscriptions.
Can you buy Amazon Prime Day without a membership?
The sales event is exclusively for Prime members. Eligible buyers can sign up for a free 30-day trial before the event to take advantage of the event’s offers.
How much does Amazon Prime membership cost?
Amazon Prime costs $14.99 per month, or $139 per year. A subscription to Prime Video alone costs $8.99 per month.
Students and buyers between the ages of 18 and 24 can sign up for $7.49 per month, or $69 per year.
How to take advantage of exclusive Amazon Prime Day deals
Prime members can get up to 40% off Sony wireless headphones, up to 30% off Peloton Original Bike and Bike+, among other offers by requesting an invite to access invite-only offers.
